Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction, the ability to read and interpret plans, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. This role involves working on a variety of projects including ground-up construction, tenant build-outs, and renovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Install doors, frames, hardware, and specialty items
- Layout walls and ceilings according to plans
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to maintain project schedule
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications
- Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience preferred
- Proficient in reading construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with commercial construction means and methods
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
- Basic hand and power tools experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with layout and field coordination
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience working on fast-paced commercial projects
